The Golden State Warriors' dynamic 'Splash Brothers' duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson inspired the defending champions to a 128-120 victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night. The Warriors, two games over .500 before the contest, took a 21-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the Thunder cut the deficit to just two following a stellar scoring performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. In the end, though, the Warriors' late-game execution sealed the victory, with a combination of excellent offense and staunch defense from the likes of Andrew Wiggins, Kevon Looney and Draymond Green. The Toronto Raptors face off against the Sacramento Kings Wednesday night in a cross-conference matchup with playoff implications for both teams. Facing off at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, the game is slated to start at 10PM EST and will be broadcast live on NBA League Pass.

The Raptors, 21-27 on the season, are looking to make a push up the Eastern Conference standings with a victory against Sacramento. Led by guard Pascal Siakam, averaging 25.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game, Toronto will be looking to strengthen their current 11-15 road record.

Fred VanVleet will also play a crucial role in the Raptors

In 2003, Kobe Bryant entered the NBA determined to make a mark in the league. Through hard work, intense skill, and a competitive mentality that was unparalleled, Bryant rose to be revered as one of the greatest ever to play the game. As such, when Kobe said something about a fellow NBA player, it was often taken as an appreciation of the highest order.

On one such occasion, Bryant showered his words of praise onto none other than Russell Westbrook. According to the legendary basketball star, the intensity, athleticism, and dedication that Westbrook showed on the court reminded him of himself when he was in the prime years of his career. During his peak with the Oklahoma City Thunder

LeBron James is continuing his march to break the NBA scoring record held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and this time, Kevin Durant is the one heaping praise on the four-time NBA champion.

In an interview, Durant discussed his admiration for the Lakers' star and his awe-inspiring longevity. "The longevity is inspiring. You look up and you still see 30 points a night at 38 years old, still making plays on both ends of the floor. Man, it's truly, truly inspiring. ... He's setting the bar for what an athlete wants to be. Not everybody

On Monday night, January 31st, 2023, while recovering from injuries, the Brooklyn Nets' stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving put on a show that steal the night—even in the absence of their teammates LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Durant, watching from the sidelines as he nurses a knee injury, couldn’t help but crack a laugh as he watched Patrick Beverley going all-out to stop his teammate Kyrie Irving. The matchup between the two Nets stars saw some heated exchanges, although always in good fun. At one point, Beverley even approached Durant on the sidelines to share some words.

Though James wasn't present

The Dallas Mavericks (26-25) are facing a must-win situation after suffering a devastating loss to the Utah Jazz over the weekend. Looking to rebound from the loss, the Mavs welcome the Detroit Pistons (13-38) to the American Airlines Center on Monday night. Dallas is running short on leverage, however, as they are currently without key players Luka Doncic and Christian Wood, along with Maxi Kleber who is still recovering from a back issue. Detroit's Cory Joseph will miss the game due to injury as well.

It's arguably a trap game for Dallas, but they shouldn't have trouble with the Pistons, a team comfortable with tanking. Detroit has only won three games since January and have the second worst defensive rating in the NBA. Compounding their struggles, they surrendered a staggering 150 points to the Milwaukee Bucks last week.

For Dallas, this is a must-win game, and Spencer Dinwiddie is ready to take on the responsibility. After back-to-back 35-point games, Dinwiddie has thrust his name on the list of Mavericks with five or more such outings. Dinwiddie joins Luka Doncic, Mark Aguirre, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kristaps Porzingis on the illustrious list.

The Mavericks are listed as 7.5-point favorites and the over/under is set at - for the game. With their backs against the wall, Dallas must seize the opportunity for their fourth win in the last 12 games. Anything less and the postseason will become increasingly difficult to reach.

The Portland Trail Blazers will be without two of their key players Saturday night as they take on the Toronto Raptors at the Moda Center. Both Jusuf Nurkic and Josh Hart have been ruled out with calf and hamstring injuries respectively. With Hart out, Nassir Little will draw the start in his place.

Little is not new to the starting lineup, having averaged 9.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in five 20+ minute appearances this season. Hart’s injury marks the latest setback for the Trail Blazers, who have also recently been without Justise Winslow and Ibou Badji who are dealing with respective ankle

The Trail Blazers have been dealt a tough blow as Jusuf Nurkic was ruled out for the rest of Wednesday's game against the Jazz due to calf soreness. Nurkic had been having a great night, scoring 17 points and securing 5 rebounds in 33 minutes of play. Unfortunately, his night ended abruptly as he left the game in the third period and did not return, leaving the Trail Blazers short-handed.

In Nurkic's absence, Drew Eubanks and Trendon Watford are likely to receive the majority of his vacated minutes on the floor. As it stands, the Trail Blazers' star center will

Australian actor Murray Bartlett recently made his debut in the highly anticipated HBO Max series The Last of Us. With roles in both Australian and international productions, playing Frank in the live-action adaptation of The Last of Us was a unique experience for Bartlett.

The actor, originally from Sydney, Australia, was seen in several television shows such as soap opera Neighbours and drama series headLand, as well as sci-fi series Farscape. Bartlett also had a minor role in the mostly forgettable Iron Fist series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He landed more substantial parts in Emmy award-winning series The White Lotus and the horror flick Needle from 2010. Most recently, he had a recurring role in the Australian spin-off of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Bartlett said that the experience was surreal for him and his family. Of his partner watching him aged up, he said, “He really internalised it and obviously had trouble separating with the fact that he was watching me in a TV show.”

Bartlett has now joined an impressive ensemble cast, who can be seen alongside Nick Offerman playing his partner Bill in The Last of Us. Everyone has their eyes peeled for the anticipated tomorrow's episode - and we can hardly wait.

From 1964-1966, Lisa Loring provided an iconic portrayal of Wednesday Addams in the original live-action "Addams Family" series. Last Sunday, her death was confirmed after a massive stroke. At 64, Loring left behind two daughters, a legacy of pop culture excellence, and a fondly remembered “Drew” that she demonstrated on-screen.

Jenna Ortega, who portrays Wednesday in the modern Netflix adaptation, paid homage to Loring in a Season 1 episode with her own version of the dance. As she explained on The Tonight Show, “I knew there were certain things I wanted to do. I paid homage to Lisa Loring, the first Wednesday Addams. I did a little bit of her shuffle that she does.”

In addition to her performance as Wednesday, Loring starred in many other shows and movies including “As the World Turns”, “Fantasy Island”, and “The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.”. After her stint on “The Addams Family,” she moved on to do makeup work on adult films, creating the alter-ego she operated under, Maxine Factor.

This weekend, actress and fans alike paid tribute to Loring and her iconic Wednesday. As her friend Laura Jacobson wrote on Facebook, “She is embedded in the tapestry that is pop culture and in our hearts always as Wednesday Addams. Beautiful, kind, a loving mother, Lisa's legacy in the world of entertainment is huge. And the legacy for her family and friends-- a wealth of humor, affection and love will long play in our memories. RIP, Lisa. Damn, girl... you were a ton of fun.”

In episode three of HBO's series The Last of Us, lovers Bill (Nick Offerman) and Frank (Murray Bartlett) take center stage to show audiences a striking love story in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Bill, a conspiracy theory survivalist, and Frank, the interloper who fell into his trap, share decades of love against all odds. Craig Mazin, co-creator of The Last of Us, wanted to demonstrate different kinds of love in this dystopia, and discussed how he wanted to “illuminate a little bit of what the time was like between outbreak day and the [present day] in the show, but [he likes to do that] through the lens of relationships as much as possible.” Unfortunately, their journey ends in tragedy when they both take their own lives in order to escape the wasteland they’ve been living in.

Nick Offerman also plays an important part in The Last of Us, bringing questions about representation of members of the LGBTQ+ community in media. While Offerman is not part of the LGBTQ+ community, he is a vocal advocate for the queer community, using his privilege to help those who aren't given the same chances. Offerman believes that mediums such as theater, film, and television should “represent the underrepresented” when it comes to gender, queer, and race issues.

The Last of Us provides an especially heartbreaking love story, while also ensuring genuine representation of the LGBTQ+ community. In a world as chaotic and unpredictable as this one, few things are more precious than the time we get to spend with the ones we love.

Asia's richest man, Gautam Adani, is turning to IPOs to expand his port-to-power conglomerate, Adani Group. The group's Chief Financial Officer, Jugeshinder Singh, announced plans to list at least five businesses - Adani New Industries, Adani Airport Holdings, Adani Road Transport, AdaniConnex, and metals and mining units - on the public market between 2026 and 2028. This move will help the group improve debt ratios and open the opportunity for broadened investor reach.

Shares of Adani Enterprises, the flagship group company, finished Monday with a 4.76% uptick. This rise follows a response from the conglomerate to the Hindenburg Research report critiquing the Adani Group's "elevated" leverage. Adani Enterprises is launching its follow-on public offering at a discount, allowing payments in three installments to attract domestic investors - a move that will help the thinly traded stock increase liquidity and reduce debt.

Late Monday afternoon, a dark blue sedan with tinted windows and a temporary tag drove up to a group of people near Iowa Avenue North and Plum Street in Lakeland, Florida. The car slowed as it approached the group, then all four windows rolled down and shots were fired in their direction. Two people were critically injured, and the other eight had non-life-threatening injuries. The shooters were in the car with four total and fled the area before officers arrived.

The victims ranged from 20 to 35 years old and found marijuana at the crime scene, leading Police Chief Sam Taylor to belief drug sales were taking place. Chief Taylor stated, "I've been here 34 years,

Louisiana police are under investigation after 12 squirrel monkeys were reported stolen from Zoosiana Zoo over the weekend. Bolstered by their community's help, Broussard Police are reviewing video footage to help capture the suspect or suspects. Sleep deprivation is a growing issue in modern society, leading to increased stress and lack of productivity. To combat these consequences, BiOptimizers has developed Sleep Breakthrough — a supplement designed to aid a quality sleep and optimal brain performance. Scientific studies support this natural solution as much safer than standard melatonin supplements, as Sleep Breakthrough promotes the body's own regulation of the sleep-wake cycle, rather than replacing it.

Sleep Breakthrough is a drink mix that is taken 30 minutes before bed. This formula contains potent ingredients to boost production of the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin and encourage deeper REM sleep cycles. This deep, restorative sleep promotes the human body’s

Bo Horvat, the ninth-overall pick by the Vancouver Canucks in 2013, has been traded to the New York Islanders after nine seasons in British Columbia. As of yet, no contract talks have taken place between Horvat and the Islanders, with general manager Lou Lamoriello seeking to close a deal as soon as possible. Familiar with a handful of the Islanders' roster, Horvat expressed shock but echoed enthusiasm for the move. According to sources, the Bruins would need to include Brandon Carlo or Jake DeBrusk to acquire Horvat, potentially offering the Canucks salary cap flexibility or a top prospect

West Ham United are set to field a star-studded lineup against Derby County in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Monday. The Hammers are coming off a confidence-building 2-0 victory against Everton, and according to former West Ham Striker Frank McAvennie, they should keep the same team to help maintain their newfound momentum.

McAvennie wants Manuel Lanzini, Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma to start against Derby County, citing them as the players who need to show why they are top tier players and prove their worth.

The club have just recalled goalkeeper Joseph Anang from his loan spell with Derby, but an interest in West Ham keeper Darren Randolph remains from Bournemouth. Despite Randolph not having made any appearances thus far this season, he featured in their mid-season friendly against Cambridge United last month. The Hammers will hope that Lanzini, Bowen and Benrahma's presence in the FA Cup clash will be enough to propel them past the League One opposition and improve their morale for upcoming games.

Monday, January 30th, Villarreal and Rayo Vallecano will battle at Estadio de la Ceramica to secure a top European position in La Liga. Quique Setien’s Villarreal boast 4-1-0 record in their last five outings and are in fifth, targeting a first top four finish in seven seasons. Rayo Vallecano, led by Andoni Iraola, has one win in their last five and is currently ninth, a mere five points behind Villarreal.

Geronimo Rulli’s impressive season for the Yellow Submarine has earned him the second position in the running for the Ricardo Zamora trophy. He has allowed an average of 0.71 goals and is complemented by stout defense. Alejandro Baena, Gerard Moreno, Yeremy Pino, Nicolas Jackson, Arnaut Danjuma, and Samuel Chukwueze have combined to score 21 goals, with 10 assisted.

Rayo Vallecano has the potential to explode offensively, with three players with two goals each, including Raul de Tomas who has served 3.

The legendary Jonas Brothers—Kevin, Joe, and Nick—will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 30th. The group has been a fan favorite for over fifteen years and is now being recognized for their contributions to the entertainment industry. Producer Ana Martinez said, “We’re so honored to be able to welcome the Jonas Brothers to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.” In celebration, the group posted a picture on social media and expressed their gratitude.

Rihanna is also being honored for her accomplishments. She will be taking the stage as this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performer. Apple Music has released ‘Road to Halftime’, where subscribers can listen to her song catalog with spatial audio in Dolby Atmos. The artist’s songs will also be featured in Apple Music Sing and other features, with the official press conference available to stream on the NFL Network, Apple Music and its social media platforms. Derby County are on a remarkable 19-game unbeaten run and manager, Paul Warne, is looking to keep that up as they approach their FA Cup fourth-round match against West Ham United and remain in a fight for promotion back to the Championship. Warne's emotional speech to his Rotherham team back in 2020 and his openness with his Derby players are inspiring the squad in ways many of us can all relate to.

Warne spoke fondly of his first home game as manager in October and the emotions it brought up thinking of how proud his father would be of him. He also expressed his beliefs about the changing attitude of today's managers which, for Warne, is about displaying vulnerability and emotional connection with his players, regardless of machismo culture still present in football.

Warne is not afraid to demonstrate his emotions, even if it means crying. He requires his players to be open and trusting of him, so he has to show them he is vulnerable and has empathy. He believes his characteristics would not have been accepted in the football world in the 80s and 90s.

The dramatic 2-1 win at Port Vale keeps Derby

The Manhattan district attorney's office is reportedly presenting evidence to a grand jury on Monday which could potentially lay the groundwork for criminal charges against former President Donald Trump regarding a hush money payment made to adult-film actress Stormy Daniels in the 2016 campaign. The New York Times reported that the payment of $130,000 was made in exchange for not disclosing an alleged extramarital affair Trump had with Daniels nearly a decade prior.

Trump's former fixer Michael Cohen was seen entering the building where the grand jury meets earlier this month and several other potential witnesses have been contacted by investigators. After Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to campaign finance charges, Trump has maintained his innocence and continues to deny the alleged extra-marital affair.

The former president's current attorney, Ronald Fischetti, said he is "aware of the investigation" and the New York District Attorney's office declined to comment. The decision to present evidence to the grand jury suggests the Manhattan district attorney is pursuing the case against Trump personally and could result in criminal charges.

A candlelight vigil was held Wednesday night in honor of Jamin Pugh, a professional wrestler known as Jay Briscoe in the ring, who tragically lost his life in a two-vehicle crash near Laurel on Jan. 17. Dozens of family, friends, and fans gathered at the Lee Elliott Worship Center to pay their respects and share memories of Pugh. Pugh's brother and lifelong tag team partner, Mark Pugh, also had a commemorative match on TBS in honor of his brother, which fell on what would have been Jamin's 39th birthday.

Pugh was a two-time ROH World Heavyweight Champion as a singles performer and, in 2022, the brothers were part of the first class of the ROH Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, Pugh's two daughters who were in the the truck at the time of the crash are continuing to recover in the hospital. According to family friend Josh Wharton, Pugh's older daughter Gracie has feeling in her legs again below her knees and Jayleigh has had the tube removed following abdominal surgery and is now able to eat on her own. As investigators continue to investigate the
