One year ago, the world watched in fear as a massive mobilization of Russian troops raised imminent concerns of war. After a brutal and unprovoked attack on Ukraine, the nation has held their ground and continues to defend their freedom and democracy. As President Biden visits Warsaw amidst the war's one year anniversary he will seek to highlight the resilience of the Ukrainian people, unifying the United States and its European allies.

In preparation for a potential Russian offensive in the spring, the Ukrainian people have called for the continuation of the influx of Western weapons, ammunition and equipment. As the war has become a grinding conflict, US officials have warned that the fighting could continue for months, if not years. The impact of the war on global economics and Biden's foreign policy cannot be overstated.

Despite the odds, the Ukrainian people have fought valiantly and withstood difficult conditions. However, the war has already taken a

On Monday, US President Joe Biden made a surprise visit to war-ravaged Ukraine to offer his support ahead of the Russia-Ukraine war's one-year anniversary. Biden extended further military assistance, including a half-billion dollars' worth of artillery ammunition, anti-armor systems and air surveillance radars, in addition to prior US supplies of armored vehicles. The US president walked alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the war-torn nation and was met with thanks and appreciation.

With the war expected to intensify, Biden sought to unify allies in support of Ukraine and encourage their delivery of promised weapon systems. However, Zelensky was left unsatisfied with the denial of fighter jets and long-range missiles from the US and other Western allies. Biden instead stood firmly with the Ukrainians, claiming “democracy stands”, “Ukraine stands”, and “the world stands

After splitting from her ex-husband Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, she co-founded The Garcia Companies, which manages the brand partnership between Under Armour and The Rock, among others. In 2020, Garcia and The Rock bought the XFL from Vince McMahon for $15million and Garcia assumed the role of chairwoman.

If the kickoff lands out of bounds, the

For a period of three years, users have been redirected to the NEA resource library which provides resources regarding anti-racism, the indigenous people, and Black History Month.

The US is witnessing a "disturbing" trendlines in China's support for Russia's military, prompting Secretary of State Antony Blinken to raise the issue when he met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Saturday. On the same day, Vice President Kamala Harris alluded to China's support for Russia, saying any steps taken to provide lethal support for Russia would “reward aggression, continue the killing and further undermine a rules-based order.” Reports suggest the US is seeing China publicly trying to promote peace while covertly aiding the Russian war effort and considers providing lethal aid.

Meanwhile, Ukraine and its allies continue to retaliate against what they consider Russian aggression. Ukrainian forces reported repelling Russian attacks in the eastern Donbas region on Sunday as the US voiced concern that China is preparing to arm Russia. In response, retired four-star Army Gen. US officials addressed mounting tensions between the US and China Sunday at the Munich Security Conference after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with China's top diplomat, Wang Yi, to discuss the country's high-altitude surveillance balloon and concerning stance on providing support to Russia.

The US military shot down a high-altitude Chinese balloon on February 4, to which Blinken called an “unacceptable violation of US sovereignty and international law” and warned of “implications and consequences” if China provides material aid to Russia.

Blinken then went on to say that “there's no doubt” the high-altitude balloon was attempting to actively surveil “very sensitive military sites.” The US Secretary of State, however, did not receive an apology from China as a result of the incident.

“More than 40 countries have had these balloons

The strained relationships between the U.S and China were on full display this weekend, after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a testy exchange with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Their talks during the Munich Security Conference took place following the U.S. military’s shoot-down of a Chinese surveillance balloon that flew over sensitive military sites in Montana.

Blinken warned China that supplying Russia with military aid "would cause a serious problem" for their already strained diplomatic relations. This followed a situation in which China refused to openly condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine and increased its trade and fuel purchases from Moscow.

In anticipation for a possible state visit by China’s President Xi Jinping to Moscow later this year, Wang went on a diplomatic visit to Moscow earlier this week. During the meeting, it is expected that Moscow and Beijing will discuss the current political situation in both the US and Europe and international

Nearly one year after the start of the devastating conflict between Russia and Ukraine, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken issued a stern warning to Chinese counterpart Wang Yi Sunday of “serious consequences” should they provide support to aid Russia’s war effort. Blinken referenced “some further information that we are sharing today, [that] indicates that they are strongly considering providing lethal assistance to Russia. To the best of our knowledge, they haven’t crossed that line yet.”

The U.S. has evidence that China is providing non-lethal aid, however, the potential provision of lethal aid would carry immense consequences. In an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman warned that action from China may trigger a “true world war” with affects every global market. In regards to China
