The Cats are riding a four-game winning streak and playing their best basketball of the season, while the Jayhawks are on a three-game losing streak and coming off their worst loss of the season.

UK looks to make a statement with a Quad I win in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Freshman guard Cason Wallace knows that Kansas will have plenty of motivation coming into Saturday's game, saying, “We know that they're going to come in and fight as hard as they can. They're going to play together and they're going to try to take our heads off." At 14-6 on the season, the Cats have won four of their past five, thanks in part to an effective lineup featuring Wallace at the point, with CJ Fredrick

The Kentucky Wildcats looked defeated just a month ago, with a home loss to South Carolina and a bleak outlook on their SEC season. But fast forward to today, and the Cats are on an impressive four-game winning streak, thanks to the emergence of senior shooting guard Antonio Reeves.

Reeves’ rise has been the main catalyst for Kentucky’s newfound winning streak, as he has led the team in scoring for three out of their four wins. His breakout performance came in their much-needed victory over the fifth-ranked Tennessee Volunteers, where Reeves scored 18 points. He followed it up with 23 points in their win over Texas A&M, five of which came from 3-pointers.

More important than just his offensive numbers is what Reeves adds to the team atmospherically. After the meeting prior to their come-from-behind win in Tennessee, he has helped the team to stay loose

The Indiana Hoosiers achieved a hard-fought victory over the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Wednesday night at the Williams Arena in Minneapolis. Without their leading scorer Dawson Garcia and backup forward Pharrel Payne due to injury, the Golden Gophers were already facing an uphill battle. When Indiana’s own coach Mike Woodson was ruled out due to COVID-19, it seemed to tip the scales in Minnesota’s favor. However, Trayce Jackson-Davis proved to be the game changer.

The showdown between the two teams began slowly as both sides struggled to find a foothold. With 12:40 left in the second half, Jackson-Davis had his first drive of the night, a layup that gave the Hoosiers a 47-40 lead. Harsh defense from both sides saw a 7-0 run by Minnesota followed by a dunk from Jackson-Davis that returned the lead to Indiana

The Broncos have interviewed eight candidates for the job, with Payton being the most intriguing among them. Last week, Payton had a meeting in Los Angeles

Google is commemorating bubble tea with a Google Doodle today, January 29th. Bubble Tea, also known as boba tea or pearl milk tea, originates from Taiwanese tea culture, dating back to the 17th century. It was in the 1980’s that bubble tea as it's recognized today was invented. Since then, the drink has gained immense popularity and was even made into an emoji in 2020.

The Google Doodle today honors bubble tea by inviting users to try their hand at making it. The game consists of five orders for users to try and complete. Each requires the player to choose and pour varying amounts of bubbles, tea, and syrup into a cup. Get close to the line without going over to earn the most points, while having a bit of fun in the process.

Innovation and experimentation on the original bubble tea continues with waves of Taiwanese immigrants bringing the drink overseas to other countries such as Singapore, Japan, South Korea, and more.

The popular beverage is now a global phenomenon, and today’s Google Doodle celebrates just that. The Doodle features colorful animated graphics and Taiwan’s indigenous Formosan

As February quickly approaches, Ohio University is gearing up for a month of celebration. Black History Month is celebrated every February in the United States to recognize the achievements of African Americans throughout history and in the present day. The origins of Black History Month date back to 1926 when historian Carter G. Woodson created the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History. His goal was to recognize the many contributions of the African American community.

In the second week of February, Woodson organized an event called "Negro History Week". This celebration coincided with the birthdays of both President Abraham Lincoln and abolitionist Frederick Douglass, two men Woodson believed represented freedom for Black Americans. Over the years, educators and activists expanded the week into a month long celebration.

Ohio University is joining in nationwide efforts to celebrate Black History Month. The Division of Diversity and Inclusion and the Multicultural Center have planned a

A bleak reality hit California on January 30th ,2023. According to a recent UC Berkeley study, extreme weather patterns due to the climate crisis will result in a rapid increase of Valley Fever cases in the state. Valley fever, caused by the soil-borne fungus Coccidioides, can lead to chronic fatigue and skin ulcers. It is a fate Jaime Gonzalez tragically knows all too well, after a windy day in the Modesto orchards 15 years ago caused him to contract Valley Fever and he continues to suffer from its symptoms today.

The fungus grows in dry, hot climates like the one experienced in the Southwest in the United States. Experts anticipate this will increase

Late Monday afternoon, a dark blue sedan with tinted windows and a temporary tag drove up to a group of people near Iowa Avenue North and Plum Street in Lakeland, Florida. The victims ranged from 20 to 35 years old and found marijuana at the crime scene, leading Police Chief Sam Taylor to belief drug sales were taking place. Chief Taylor stated, "I've been here 34 years,

As technological advances transform the banking industry, the 'banking as a service' model, coined as one of the leading disruptors, is set to take off in the coming years. This shared model enables banks to integrate their digital banking services directly into the products of non-bank businesses over cloud-based solutions, creating a seamless experience for users and an efficient process. A global strategy consultancy, Arthur D. Little, predicts that banking as a service (BaaS) will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 25% worldwide and this development could boost the Middle East's banking income by approximately $5 billion, or 4%, by 2026
