The deserving winner was Luke Combs for "The Kind of Love We Make."

Tyler Hubbard, former Florida Georgia Line singer, performed his latest single "Dancin' In The Country" at the awards show. The performance marked a milestone after just releasing his solo debut album "Tyler Hubbard," which included the first solo single "5 Foot 9." Additionally, country music icon Shania Twain received the 2023 "CMT Equal Play Award," and Stevie Ray Vaughan and Lynyrd Skynyrd were honored with tribute performances by various artists.
