Thousands of Microsoft Teams users have reported issues with the application, with reports starting to rise around 12 pm EST on Friday. Over 2,500 users experienced issues on Downdetector, including delayed comments and an inability to view images. Microsoft has acknowledged the problem and identified a networking issue impacting a portion of the Teams service. They stated that they were performing a failover to remediate the impact. However, despite Microsoft's efforts, reports of problems with the service continue to rise, surpassing 8,000. Users took to social media platforms to express their frustration and even poke fun at the situation. This is not the first time Microsoft Teams has experienced an outage, with a similar incident reported in September 2023. As of now, Microsoft is still investigating the cause of the outage and working on addressing the server issues. Users are advised to stay tuned for updates on the status of Microsoft Teams.
