At least four people killed as tornado strikes Wynne, Arkansas

A deadly tornado ripped through Wynne, Arkansas, leaving at least four people dead and 26 others with injuries ranging from critical to non-critical. The tornado also caused extensive damage to buildings, including the Wynne High School, businesses, and houses, many of which were torn apart. Emergency services are on the scene, and some people are believed to be trapped in their homes. The Cross Ridge Community Hospital received 26 patients with storm-related injuries, some of whom have been transferred to nearby hospitals. The National Weather Service has issued a rare 'high-risk' forecast, warning of the possibility of strong, violent tornadoes, damaging thunderstorm winds and hail across several states, including Arkansas, Iowa and Missouri, through tonight.
