Islam Makhachev has wasted no time in calling out UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards following his title defense win at UFC 286. The lightweight champion seeks to become a double champion at UFC Abu Dhabi in October.

Makhachev took to Twitter to post, “I want Leon next, October in Abu Dhabi”. The judges awarded Edwards a majority decision in his title trilogy match against Kamaru Usman, avenging the loss in their first title bout.
