Stipe Miocic, one of the greatest mixed martial artists in the history of the UFC, is set to make a return to the Octagon. UFC President Dana White has confirmed that Miocic will face the winner of Saturday’s heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane in July. Jones, making his much-awaited return to the UFC at heavyweight, will aim to become the youngest champion in the promotion's history if he can secure victory over Gane.

White has also made it clear that a one-time champion and Miocic's former foe, Francis Ngannou, will not be allowed to step back into the UFC.

Ngannou had notable wins over both Jones and Gane before departing from the UFC as a free agent, and Jones is poised to take on both of them in reverse order if he can
