Russian Missile Strikes Target Ukraine, Killing 4 and Disrupting Power

Russia has launched an aggressive wave of revenge military strikes across Ukraine, leaving at least four people dead and numerous buildings destroyed. The missile launch comes as Ukrainian forces battle to rise against a Russian invasion that has lasted over a year in the eastern part of the country. Missile attacks extended from the north of the country in Kharkiv, all the way to the western edge, in cities like Lviv and Zhytomyr, and even reached Odesa in the south.

The US Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, suggested Wednesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin may be planning to extend the war for years as the destruction of property and infrastructure intensifies. The strikes have placed an already fragile strain on the power grid, with Zaporizhzhya's nuclear power plant experiencing a complete power outage.
