The court case involving Alex Murdaugh, the accused double-murderer of his wife and son, continued in a South Carolina courtroom on Wednesday. With the prosecution completing their closing argument earlier in the day, Alex Murdaugh made it known that he was not a fan favorite. The defendant bluntly admitted to the jury that he had lied to law enforcement, his family, and the world at large while denying that he was physically present at the scene of the June 2021 double-homicide. As often is the case, lawyers make the worst clients in their own defense.

The final moments of the day were wrought with tension as the prosecution's rebuttal witness, Ronnie Crosby, returned to the stand during a heated cross-examination. Fireworks flew as defense attorney Dick Harpootlian began questioning the man that had been friends with Murdaugh and his business partner for 25 years. Harpoot
