Newly released reports indicate that Jamie Komoroski, the woman accused of crashing into a newlywed couple on their way back from their wedding, had a blood alcohol level of 0.261%. The legal limit in South Carolina is 0.08%. Komoroski stands charged with three counts of felony DUI and one count of vehicular homicide. Reports from the Folly Beach Department of Public Safety describe the chaotic crash scene, with victims lying throughout the crash site, and officers providing medical attention to multiple people, including the bride and groom. Samantha Miller unfortunately passed away at the scene, and her husband, Aric Hutchinson, is currently recovering from multiple injuries, including broken bones and brain injuries. When questioned about the incident, Komoroski allegedly told officers at the scene that she had only had one beer and one tequila pineapple mixed drink an hour before, but refused to perform any sobriety tests. She was found to be driving in the opposite direction of her house at the time of the crash while traveling at 65 miles per hour in a 20-mile-per-hour zone.
