Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with the triple homicide of three teenagers in a rural area of Florida. The victims and suspects were all affiliated with criminal gangs, according to Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods. Investigators believe that the victims were involved in burglaries and robberies before the suspects allegedly turned on them and murdered them. The identities of the second and third victim have not been released, but the first victim was identified as 16-year-old Layla Silvernail. The three friends were likely killed at the same time, said Woods. The suspects left behind a trail of evidence which lead to their arrests. A third suspect remains on the run. The gun used in the killings was taken during a car burglary. All six of the teenagers had gang ties and had participated in crimes together. This is a developing story, and more information will be forthcoming.
