Mavericks Prepare for Critical Game Against Resurgent Clippers as Cowboys Look to Make Playoff History

Fans of the Dallas Metroplex have a lot to look forward to on Sunday. It's a day of sports with the Mavericks squaring off against the Los Angeles Clippers in a critically important game at American Airlines Center and the Cowboys set to make playoff history in the Divisional Round matchup against their long-time rivals, the San Francisco 49ers.

In an effort to make sure Mavs fans can take in both games, the NBA has moved the tip-off of the Mavericks–Clippers match to 1:30 p. m.

The Mavericks have been on a good run. Led by a revitalized Reggie Bullock, they could be in line to face the Clippers again come April if they keep up the current level of play. After a slow start with a shooting slump in the first 40 games shooting 31 percent from distance, Bullock's game has reached a new level in the last seven games. He's been shooting an unbelievable 52 percent from three-pointers and averaging 12.7 points.

The Dallas Mavericks will look to take advantage of their momentum against the 24-24 Clippers and put themselves in the driver's seat for a strong playoff run. After the game ends at 4:30 pm, Mavs fans can switch channels and watch the Cowboys’ attempt to etch their name in the books with a much-anticipated victory. The Cowboys and 49ers kick off at 5:30 pm. Regardless of who wins on Sunday, it's set to be a great day of sports in the Dallas Metroplex.
