Orlando Robinson has had a remarkable rookie journey, from being a stand-out player in the Summer League to playing 31 games with the Miami HEAT in the regular NBA season. Robinson helped Sioux Falls make a late push to the Western Conference Finals. His G League career had a great start, with two of his first four games being 20-plus points and 10-plus rebounds, and he inked his first two-way deal with the HEAT on November 13. Robinson returned to the Skyforce, helping them set a G League era franchise record by reeling seven-straight games of 20-plus points and 10-plus rebounds in his final five outings. He finished the Showcase Cup with 22.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.3 blocks per 22.8 minutes a game. "Big O" joined the Skyforce as an affiliate player in November and worked through with a steady progression, earning two NBA Call-Ups with Miami. HEAT Head Coach Erik Spoelstra applauded Robinson's hard work and steady improvement. Robinson's career looked bright with his commitment, work ethic, and tunnel vision.
