The recent mass shooting at a mall in Texas, which left 8 dead and several injured, is being investigated by authorities. Reports now indicate that investigators have uncovered a social media profile that they believe was linked to the shooter, Mauricio Garcia, who was killed by a police officer at the scene. The profile, found on the social media site OK.RU, was filled with hate-filled rants against women and Black people, and included several references to Hitler and neo-Nazi websites like The Daily Stormer. Furthermore, the shooter was wearing a patch that said "RWDS," an abbreviation known to stand for "Right Wing Death Squad." The hashtag has been used by neo-Nazi groups in the United States and members of other far-right organizations like the Proud Boys. The profile also included several pictures showing a black tactical vest with an RWDS patch that authorities believe Garcia wore during the shooting.
