Residents of the Creekside Glen trailer park in Crestline, California were left stranded after a winter storm dumped massive amounts of snow on their community in February. Michael Hastings, a resident of the trailer park, said that the main roads leading away from the park are blocked, leaving them cut off from the rest of the town. Roofs of four trailers have collapsed due to the immense weight of the accumulated snow and piles of snow can be found up to six feet deep around Hastings' home.
The parks' only source of food, Goodwin & Sons Market, suffered a major loss after its roof collapsed due to the heavy snow. Fortunately, no one was in the store at the time of the collapse. The resort community, which is largely comprised of seniors and short-term renters, is struggling with the lack of access to food, as the local roads are still unplowed.
