The second day of the Billabong Pro Pipeline, the World Surf League's (WSL) 2023 Men's Championship Tour (CT) event, was a success. With clean four-to-six-foot swell, the surfers battled it out for a chance to claim one of the 32 spots up for grabs in the Round of 32. Joao Chianca from Brazil earned the highest score of the event with an 8.50, and former World Champions showed promise while rookies struggled under pressure.
