On Thursday evening, a heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in the northern German city of Hamburg. At a Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, a gunman opened fire and killed at least six people before killing himself. Nine total people were injured by the assailant, with one woman losing a baby during the chaos.
According to police, the incident occurred around 9pm local time and the shooter was found dead in the building. There is no concrete evidence as of yet to suggest the shooter was working with others, but police investigations are still running at full speed. Police have yet to confirm a motive, but they have warned citizens to stay indoors and exercise caution.
