Locals told Radio Free Asia's Korean Service that during Kim Jong Un's public appearances, they can't help but notice Kim Ju Ae's "plump cheeks" in comparison to the undernourished kids in their villages.

A source from North Pyongan Province said people were saying that "she must be eating so well, her face is so white and plump like the moon," in contrast to the children who cannot eat properly due to the dearth of food.
