Was Little Rock Tornado a Tragedy in Vain?

The National Weather Service has declared the Little Rock tornado a strong EF3 with winds of 165 miles per hour; no missing people were reported, but four people were confirmed dead in the tornado that hit Wynne, Arkansas. The storm destroyed the Wynne High School, and at least 26 people were admitted to hospitals for storm-related injuries. Some were transferred to nearby hospitals, and injuries ranged from critical to non-critical. Pulaski County is working with the state and federal agencies to clean up, and emergency housing plans are being made. At present, utilities, specifically dealing with downed power lines on roads, remain a top priority. As the office of Emergency Management conducts secondary search today, there is no indication of whether any additional persons will be found. Meanwhile, social media posts of residents in the region have shown the immense destruction caused by the tornado; houses were leveled, cars were flipped, and some people were trapped inside their homes. It remains to be seen how the affected area will recover from the tragedy.
