Fox News Execs Engaged in War Within Network Amid Growing Election Fraud Conspiracy Theory

Tuesday was a day of drama in the highly watched case of Dominion Voting Systems v. Fox News. In preparation for the summary judgment hearing that could decide the case in favor of Dominion without even going to trial, new court documents showing thousands of pages of texts, emails, documents and correspondence were unsealed revealing an internal civil war brewing within Fox.

Executives like Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott seem to have acknowledged that hosts had to keep the pro-Trump viewer base happy- even if it meant their reporting on the 2020 election lacked accuracy. In a January deposition, Fox founder Rupert Murdoch rejected conspiracy theories about Dominion Voting Systems his own network had promoted after the 2020 election, as well as denied any credible evidence of election fraud.

The documents further showed Fox political editors Chris Stirewalt and Bill Sammon were allegedly trying to accurately record the 2020 election results while star hosts Tucker Carlson, Laura Ing
