Breanna Stewart Takes a Stand to Subsidize Charter Travel for the Entire WNBA

Six-time All-Star Breanna Stewart has taken a leadership role in the fight for equal rights for WNBA players. As the highest profile free agent this offseason, she is pledging to help subsidize charter travel for the entire WNBA as to prioritize player safety and health.

In a recent tweet, Stewart stated she would contribute with her NIL, posts and production hours in order to ensure a better product produced by WNBA players. The cause has gained support from a multitude of WNBA stars such as Sue Bird, Chiney Ogwumike, Alysha Clark, Nneka Ogwumike, Natalie Achonwa, Kahleah Copper and Layshia Clarendon, to name a few. NBA star Ja Morant even joined the call to action, quote tweeting Stewart’s message with the same hand-raising emoji.
