Nike has reported Q3 revenues of $12.4 billion, up 14% from the same period last year, beating expectations from Yahoo analysts. Despite challenges in China and recent inventory excesses, the athletic giant exceeded analyst expectations with better-than-expected results. Nike brand digital sales were up 24%, and wholesale revenues grew 18% in the quarter, marking the second consecutive quarter of impressive growth, even with an emphasis on DTC channels. Every region experienced currency-neutral growth with sales in Greater China up 1%. Nike CEO John Donahoe attributed the strong Q3 results to the Consumer Direct Acceleration ( CDA ) program alongside Nike's focus on DTC and digital channels.
