Former President Donald Trump is expected to be arrested as early as Tuesday, as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and his grand jury prepare to file felony charges. On Saturday, the former president made a post on Truth Social claiming that “the Far & Away Leading Republican candidate and Former President of the United States of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Protest, take our nation back!"

Trump is aware that he could be indicted based upon the investigation of paying porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 in hush money in October 2016, and former Trump bagman Michael Cohen already pleaded guilty and did federal time for his role in the coverup conspiracy of their tryst. Trump is also likely being examined on the $150,000 he paid ex-Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal - again for hush money - in August 2016.
