Michigan State University is still reeling from the tragic shooting that took three lives, critically injured five and ended with the gunman dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Shock and concern were rampant on social media, with many asking why such a tragedy had to occur and what is being done to prevent these events from happening again. Michigan State University Police Deputy Chief Chris Rozman spoke on the police's response and the grim reality of 366 school shootings nationwide since 1999.
