Who were the victims of the Covenant School shooting?

Monday’s shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee claimed the lives of six innocent people. Amongst those killed were Cynthia Peak, also known as Cindy, who was working as a substitute teacher at the school. She was described as a selfless educator, who always gave her time to ensure that the young minds she taught had someone to care for them and help them do their best. Peak was also a devoted wife and mother of three, with an unwavering faith in Christ that helped her through her life. Her husband, Chris, said she loved to take evening walks with him and was always protecting the kids she taught. Hallie Scruggs, aged nine, was the only daughter of Chad and Jada Scruggs. She had just begun her week at the school when she was tragically killed. Hallie, who loved ninjas and unicorns, soccer and basketball, was remembered by her family as a gift, who they believe is now wrapped in the arms of Jesus. The other victims include Evelyn Dieckhaus, William Kinney, Katherine Koonce, and Mike Hill, all of whom were well-loved members of their community. The shooting has left the community reeling and mourning the loss of so many innocent lives.
