Energy Department Allegedly Concludes Covid Emerged From Lab Leak

WASHINGTON -- In a recently classified intelligence report provided to the White House and key members of Congress, the U.S. Energy Department allegedly concluded that the Covid pandemic most likely arose from a laboratory leak. This is a shift from its stance before, when the Energy Department was undecided on how the virus emerged.

The Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines's office noted the shift in an update to a 2021 document. These recent developments bring more attention to the possibility of a lab leak and are likely to raise further questions from the public.

While the exact origin of the virus is still unknown, the report has added to the mounting evidence that it originated in a lab. Other countries, such as Canada and the United Kingdom, have previously expressed a belief that Covid did not naturally occur, which supports the leaked Energy Department document.
