Authorities have captured the third and final suspect in the killing of three Florida teenagers. Tahj Brewton, 16, was apprehended by US marshals and could face additional charges in the deaths of Layla Silvernail, Camille Quarles, and an unidentified 17-year-old boy. Two other suspects, Christopher Atkins, 12, and Robert Robinson, 17, have already been charged with first-degree murder. Accused of being part of a burglary gang with the victims, the trio allegedly turned on the three teens and killed them. Brewton was arrested on a series of outstanding warrants, unrelated to the slayings, for carjacking with a firearm, aggravated assault, grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, and tampering with an electronic monitoring device. The Marion County Sheriff's Office stated that an ongoing homicide investigation may lead to additional charges. The three were arrested after a widespread manhunt and a $10,000 reward for information leading to their capture. Prosecutors are reviewing whether Atkins and Robinson will be tried as adults for the murders.
