But that's not the only story from the city today. Two Liverpool fans were arrested in central Madrid on Tuesday night after attempting to leave without paying their bar bill of EUR2,200. The men, aged 52 and 49, had been ordering shots, champagne and long drinks, falsely claiming to be millionaires so that the waiting staff would not question their spending. After the National Police were called due to their refusal to pay, a violent response ensued, leading to the arrest of the two men.
