The dress code is “in honor of Karl,” and many of Lagerfeld’s designs are expected to be seen on the red carpet, including nods to his personal style. Other celebrities who have confirmed their attendance include Elle Fanning and Rita Ora. Lagerfeld's influence has made an indelible impact on the fashion industry, with his work being honored in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute’s spring exhibition. The exhibition will also explore Lagerfeld's creative process and feature about 150 works from his career across different fashion houses. The gala will be available for live streaming on Vogue’s website at 6:30 p.m. ET.
