Tyra Banks recently announced she was leaving her post as host of the long-running "Dancing With the Stars" competition. Following former judge Len Goodman's retirement earlier this year, producers at BBC Studios and Disney+ have announced Tom Bergeron will return to helm the series.
Bergeron's return is welcome news to fans of the show, as he was the host of 28 seasons before Banks replaced him in 2020. When asked if he had been approached for the gig, his rep had no comment.
Banks managed to grow into the role during her three season tenure and her departure came as she prepares to focus on her business and behind-the-scenes producing. She recently launched an ice cream brand, SMiZE & Dream, in the United Arab Emirates and is looking to bring the brand to the U.S.
